Hiking/Cycling: Pollensa and its surroundings are a paradise for nature lovers, hikers and cyclists. There are tours to everyone’s taste: the Puig de Maria on the outskirts of Pollensa, Coves Blanques in Cala San Vicente and Cala Boquer can be perfectly done with small to middle-aged kids, Pollensa to Lluc on the GRR21 route is a bit more challenging but very impressive, Cala San Vicente and Formentor offer various hikes some of which end at the beach, such as Cala Figuera, the property of Ternelles only allows 20 people per day (previous registration necessary on the town hall’s website) and offers total silence in a beautiful countryside.
If you like visiting traditional villages, the historical village of Alcudia with its old town wall is well worth a visit.
